In this 2-hour web-based training, instructor Dan Purvine discusses the important issues that A/E firms need to address in the development of their overhead rate, as well as actions that firms can take to enhance the quality of their overhead rate and supporting documentation, to help them avoid issues in the state DOT review process. Whether you work for an A/E firm, a CPA firm, or a public agency, this course will provide valuable insights into these important issues. Dan will address topics such as key factors and decisions affecting your overhead rate, policies and procedures you need to have in place, and how to minimize year-end audit adjustments. He will describe how to establish a model to predict your overhead rate, high risk areas for special attention, and common costs questioned in state DOT reviews. The webinar will be followed by a 10 question quiz that must be passed at a 70% rate for a Certificate of Completion.
