In this two hour, web-based training, instructor Dan Purvine will highlight key steps you can take to prepare for your upcoming 2013 overhead audit and reduce the stress of the state DOT review process. Dan will cover high risk areas and how to address critical issues to avoid audit findings by state DOTs.
Topics covered will include:
- important developments in the areas of state DOT indirect cost rate audits and contracting
- including an explanation of the FHWA Safe Harbor Rate test project
- proposed changes to the AASHTO Audit Guide and updates to the National Compensation Matrix.
Dan will provide an overview of the state DOT risk assessment checklist, and key areas to focus on as you prepare for year-end.
A 10 question quiz will preceed the training, which must be passed at a 70% rate or higher to earn the CPE credit. Once the video has been downloaded, the training will be available for five days.
