Join us for this important and timely virtual training event in which instructor Dan Purvine will discuss hot topics affecting A/E firm overhead rates and CPA firm indirect cost rate audits.
Topics will include an update on the treatment of PPP loan forgiveness by state DOTs, including the various interpretations of how and when to calculate the FAR credit and the likely effects on your government contracts. Dan will also discuss the short-term and long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on A/E firm overhead rates.
Other topics will include proposed changes to the AASHTO Audit Guide that are currently under discussion and likely to result in a 2022 Audit Guide revision. Dan will present in-depth analysis of other key topics including bonuses and executive compensation, application of home and field rates to government contracts, and important audit planning considerations for 2021 overhead audits.
This training event was originally presented in two 1 hour and 15-minute lessons, back-to-back with a 15-minute break in between, for a total of 150 minutes of instruction (3 CPE credits).
